The ability to learn a foreign language includes both intellectual and non-intellectual factors. This article analyzes the important influence of non - intellectual factors on English learning and discusses how to mobilize and motivate students’ non - intelligence factors in English teaching in secondary vocational schools and promote their balanced development in intelligence and emotion.
