Mao Zedong is one of the greatest figures of the twentieth century. He learned a lot of talent, not only a great statesman, thinker, military strategist, theorist, but also a great artist, calligrapher. Some of his poems and calligraphy ink can be said to be household names, women and children are well known. Mao Zedong’s handwritten ink survived about as many as a thousand pieces, only as a poem manuscript, I saw 133. Most of these manuscripts did not have time for writing, and some of the poems were revised several times. Studying these poetry manuscripts will be of great help in correctly understanding Mao Zedong’s poetry and the author’s feelings when writing poems. The author has compiled chronological chronology of the Mao Zedong manuscripts now published (as I see them) (see Issue 6, Calligraphy Appreciation, 2003). This chronology does not include Mao Zedong’s own poems and handwritten ancient poems.
