Example 1 Female, 58 years old, had a recurrent episode of cholangitis for 3 months and was operated in an external hospital in December 1993. During the operation, gallbladder enlargement was noted. There were several small stones in the operation and the common bile duct expanded to 1.6 cm. There were more jelly-like mucus and no stones were seen. Cholecystectomy, common bile duct T-tube drainage. After 40 days of operation, we underwent choledochoscopy in our hospital. We found that the bile ducts inside and outside the liver were slightly dilated.
