There were three bears living in the woods.
　　森林里住着三只熊。
　　Each morning， the three bears had porridge for breakfast， but one morning， the porridge was too hot to eat. Then they went out for a walk to wait for the porridge to cool down.
　　每天早晨，三只熊早餐都吃的是粥，但是有一个早上，粥太烫了吃不下，所以三只熊出门散会儿步，等粥凉了再吃。
　　That morning， there was a little girl playing in the woods. Her name was Goldilocks.
　　那天早上，有个小女孩儿在森林里玩耍。她的名字叫金发姑娘。
　　She came to the house of three bears.
　　她来到了三只熊的家。
　　She looked in through the kitchen window. She didn’t see anybody but the delicious porridge. Then she climbed in through the window.
　　她从厨房窗户往里看，没看到人，却看到了美味的粥。然后她从窗户爬了进去。
　　he took a spoonful from the biggest bowl. “Ouch！” she screamed， “This porridge is too hot.” She took a spoonful from the medium bowl. “Ouch！” she screamed， “This porridge is too cold.” She took a spoonful from the smallest bowl. “Mmm！” she said， “This is perfect！” So she ate all the porridge.
　　她从最大的那个碗里盛了一大勺粥。“哎呦！”她尖叫道。“这碗粥好烫！”她又从中等大小的碗里盛了一勺。“哎呦！”她又叫起来，“这一碗太凉了！”她从最小的那个碗里盛出一勺。“嗯——”她说，“这碗刚好！”于是她吃光了碗里剩下的粥。
　　She sat on Daddy Bear’s big chair. “Horrible！” she said， “This is much too hard.” Then she sat on Mummy Bear’s chair. “Oh dear！” she said， “This is much too soft.” Then she sat on Baby Bear’s little chair.
　　她坐到熊爸爸的大椅子上，“真糟糕！”她说，“这张椅子太硬了。”接着她坐到了熊妈妈的椅子上。“噢，天哪！”她说：“这张也太软了吧！”然后她坐到了小熊的小椅子上。
　　“Well， this one is just right，” she said as she rocked back and forth on the chair. But she was too heavy for the little chair. She broke it into tiny pieces and fell on the floor.
　　“这张椅子刚刚好。”她说，还一边来回摇动着椅子。但是对这张小椅子来说，她太重了。她把椅子弄成了碎块，散落在地板上。
　　“Oh！ I’m tired，” said Goldilocks， “I’ll go to sleep for a little while.” Then she walked up the stairs.
　　“噢！我累了。”金發姑娘说道，“我要睡一小会儿。”然后她就上楼去了。
　　She climbed onto Daddy Bear’s bed. “Horrible！” she said， “This is too high for me.” She jumped onto Mummy Bear’s bed. “Oh， dear！” she said， “This is too low for me.” She went to lie down on Baby Bear’s bed. “Exactly right！” she said， “This is a lovely bed.” Then she fell asleep on the little tiny bed.
　　她爬到熊爸爸的床上。“真糟糕！”她说，“这张床对我来说太高了！”她跳上了熊妈妈的床。“噢，天哪！”她说，“这张又太低了！”她走向小熊的床，躺了上去。“刚刚好！”她说，“这张床很可爱！”然后就在这张小床上睡着了。
　　The three bears came back for their breakfast. Daddy Bear asked， “Who has eaten my porridge？” Mummy Bear asked， “Who has eaten my porridge？” Baby Bear screamed， “Who has eaten all of my porridge？”
　　三只熊回来吃早餐。熊爸爸问：“谁吃了我的粥？”熊妈妈问：“谁吃了我的粥？”小熊尖叫道：“谁吃了我的粥？”
　　When Baby Bear found his chair was broken， he was unhappy.
　　小熊发现它的椅子坏了的时候，很不开心。
　　The three bears went upstairs. Baby bear was puzzled， “Who is lying on my bed？”
　　三只熊上楼了。小熊感到很困惑，“谁躺在我的床上？”
　　Goldilocks woke up. “Oh！ I am sorry！” Goldilocks was frightened. “I beg your pardon.”
　　金发姑娘醒了。“哦！对不起！”金发姑娘吓坏了，“请原谅我。”
　　The bears forgave Goldilocks at last. Goldilocks never got into people’s house when there was no one in.
　　三只熊最终还是原谅金发姑娘了。金发姑娘从不走进没人住的房子。
