The daunting world population situation in Dakar has drawn the attention of all continents in the world. African countries have realized that uncontrolled population control will certainly seriously hamper social and economic development and must act immediately to formulate practical and effective measures to control population growth and enable the continent’s economy to develop sustainably. This is the consensus reached by all African representatives at the Third African Population Conference held in mid-December 1992 in Dakar, Senegal. The publication of the UNFPA shows that one of the challenges currently facing the continent is the rapid population growth. The annual growth rate of population in Africa is the highest in the world with the highest population growth rate, currently 3% (Asia
