The elevation on the earth starts with a sea level of zero. People think that the waters of the oceans are also flat. However, oceanographers will tell us that there is no horizontal base point on the oceans, and the waters of the oceans are uneven. According to scientists, the Indian Ocean ocean surface is approximately 100m lower than the other sea areas near Sri Lanka, and the Atlantic Ocean is approximately 65m higher than the other ocean surface centers near Iceland. It can be seen that the Atlantic Ocean is like a hill. This spectacle is not caused by the ebb and flow. It is caused by the different gravity of the lower parts of the oceans. The difference in gravitational size has a lot to do with the landscape and underground conditions. Due to the ellipsoidal shape of the Earth, where the crust is thick, its gravitational force is larger, and where the crust is thin, the gravitational force is small, and thus the wonder of the sea level is “uneven.”
