脑血管烟雾病(脑底动脉环闭塞症或脑底异常血管网症),首先于1955年由清水和竹内抽述,继于1966年由铃木命名。起病一般较急,临床表现为脑卒中样症状,脑血管造影显示两侧对称性颈内动脉端末狭窄或闭塞和脑底部烟雾(Moyamoya)状异常血管网。最初日本学者将其认为是该国所特有的一种疾病,以后其他国家先后亦有报道,据统计,1974年日本为518例,其他国家共有60余例。现就本病某些研究进展情况综述如下。
Cerebrovascular moyamoya disease (cerebellar artery occlusion or abnormal brain vascular network), first described by Shimizu and Takeuchi in 1955, followed by Suzuki in 1966. The onset is generally more acute, the clinical manifestations of stroke-like symptoms, cerebral angiography showed bilateral stenosis or occlusion of both sides of the internal carotid artery and Moyamoya abnormal blood vessels network. Japanese scholars first thought it was a peculiar disease in the country. Later on, other countries reported it successively. According to statistics, in 1974, Japan was 518 cases while there were more than 60 cases in other countries. Now some of the progress of the disease are summarized below.
