写作是英语的四大基本语言技能之一,而中国大学生的英语写作能力较低,特别是他们在语篇层面上的写作能力尤其欠佳。语篇分析研究的是句子层面之上的语言的使用和构建,因此语篇分析的很多相关理论,例如语篇模式、衔接和连贯等,都可以运用到英语写作教学中。语篇知识对于写作的意义在于它使学生从更高更广的角度考虑文章的布局,句间、段落间的过渡,确保文章逻辑关系清晰、主题鲜明、中心突出。
Writing is one of the four basic language skills in English, while Chinese college students have lower English writing skills, especially their writing ability at the discourse level is particularly poor. Discourse analysis focuses on the use and construction of language at the sentence level. Therefore, many relevant theories of discourse analysis, such as discourse patterns, cohesion and coherence, can be applied to English writing teaching. The significance of discourse knowledge in writing lies in that it enables students to consider the layout, sentences and transition of paragraphs from a higher perspective. It ensures that the logical relationship of the articles is clear, the subject is distinct and the center stands out.
