At present, there are 31 mining countries in the world. In 1983, tin concentrate production in the world was 192,500 tons, 230,640 tons in 1978 and 180,996 tons in 1950. F. Carlot and his colleagues have for decades conducted a detailed analysis of the world’s mining production in Paris, publishing a bi-annual briefing on the production of more than 50 mineral raw materials in 150 countries. As can be seen from Table 1, tin ore production is concentrated in a few countries, Malaysia, Indonesia and Bolivia, accounting for 50% of world production. Tin production in the Soviet Union, China, Germany, Germany and the Czech Republic accounts for 18-20%. Because of these socialist countries
