This paper analyzes the differences in physical development and common characteristics of ten ethnic minority children in China at different ages. The results showed that the height and weight of all nationalities children and the Ketolai index increased with their age. The average number of them was the largest in Kazakhstan, while the Mongolian, Uighur and Kazak ethnic groups were close, while the Yao ethnic group was the smallest. The Blok, Laurel and Libby indices of ten ethnic minorities decreased with age. The Tujia, Miao and Lahu children have higher stature because of their short stature. The Hui children have a relatively tall figure with a small index. The height, weight and the Cato index of all ethnic minority children are lower than those of local Han children, with the largest difference between the Lahu and Han nationality. The physical development of children between ethnic minorities, ethnic minorities and Han nationalities has some differences and different characteristics.
