过去两年中,海岸系统站,即美国海军首要海岸地区以及水雷战实验室,一直致力于研究一项所有美国国防部专业人员正面临或即将面临的任务:设计符合指定要求的C4ISR结构,同时与整个联合部队的其他C4ISR兼容。在设计这一结构的过程中,海岸系统站运用的是C4ISK结构基准体系,这是由国防部研发、为描绘结构提供标准方法的一种工具。虽然海岸系统站已发现C4ISK结构基准体系是一种非常有用的工具,然而,有效且高效率地运用它是非常有挑战性的。文中描述了CSS在运用这一体系中得到的经验教训。
Over the past two years, the Coast System Station, the US Navy’s prime coast and the Mine Warfare Laboratory, have been working on a mission that all U.S. Department of Defense professionals are facing or will be facing: designing C4ISR structures that meet specified requirements and, at the same time, Compatible with other C4ISRs across the combined force. In designing this structure, the Coastal System Stations used the C4ISK Structural Reference System, a tool developed by the Department of Defense to provide a standard method of delineating structures. Although the C4ISK Structural Reference System has been found to be a very useful tool for coastal system stations, it is very challenging to use it effectively and efficiently. The article describes the CSS lessons learned in the use of this system.
