NMR logging is a new logging technique that is suitable for open-hole wells and is the only logging method that can directly measure the volumetric properties of free-flowing fluid (oil, gas, water) seepage in any lithologic reservoir. NMR logging differs from other well logging methods in porosity interpretation in that NMR logging can account for the bound fluid and mobile fluid porosity. Logging with a new generation of NMR logging tools can also explain the porosity of clay-bound fluids with significant advantages. At present, the identification of low resistivity formations with commercial value of oil and gas production is more and more important. As a quaternary unconsolidated sandstone gas field in the Sebei gas field, there are a large number of low-resistivity gas reservoirs due to the argillaceous content and the high salinity of formation water, so it is very difficult to combine these low resistivity gas layers with water and dry Layers apart. Through the application of nuclear magnetic resonance logging in the SX well, this paper illustrates the practical application of NMR logging to evaluate the pore structure and fluid properties of loose sandstone reservoirs.
