他热情诙谐、豁然爽朗,虽年近八旬,却依然精力旺盛。一谈起音乐就两眼闪着光芒,说话滔滔不绝,全身心都沉浸在一种美好的境界中。他,就是我国著名指挥家李德伦先生。李老出生在北京,童年时正值军阀混战的动荡年代。他曾随家迁往天津和长春,曾在当时全国惟一的高等音乐学府——上海国立音乐专科学校学习。他曾由周恩来同志亲自安排飞抵延安,在党中央决定建立红色政权的第一个管弦乐团——中央管弦乐团任教员和指挥。他曾赴莫斯科音乐学院深造,成为阿诺索夫教授麾下最有成就的4名优秀学生之一。他曾先后指挥过20多个世界一流的交响乐团并长期任中央乐团首席指挥。
