Objective To investigate the working conditions of CT equipment and radiologists in Japan. Materials and Methods According to a survey conducted by the Japanese medical journal “New Medical,” the status of CT medical institutions was compared with the list of members of the Radiological Medicine Association. The work status of organizations that have CT and radiology specialists who are closely related to imaging diagnostics were counted. As a result, the Japanese CT machine configuration is of a lower grade (Editor’s Note: This situation is compared with developed countries such as the United States). There are insufficient professional radiologists, and the CT machine configuration is inconsistent with the setting of professional physicians. This is currently a major problem. . Conclusion In order to provide high-quality imaging diagnosis, a combination of high-performance machine equipment and highly skilled professional physicians is required.
