月经初潮年龄是反映儿童少年生长发育成熟度的一项重要指标之一。由于遗传和环境因素的影响,不同地区儿童少年月经初潮年龄也不相同。关于儿童少年初潮年龄的报道国内已较多见,但我省未见报道,为了了解徽县中学女生青春期发育状况,探讨在校女生月经初潮和年龄的关系,加强在校儿童少年青春期（）卫生常识的宣传教育,我们在徽县一、二、三中学对11～18岁1063名女学生进行了月经初潮年龄的回顾性调查现将结果报告如下:
