据《中国日报》报道,上海最大的出租汽车公司正在召回所有车牌带有不祥数字“4”的出租车,为的是增加学生们高考成功的几率。“4”字在普通话和广东话中与“死”字谐音,在上海话里它还多了一层成为输家的含义。报纸援引上海大众出租汽车公司一位管理人员的话说:“许多家长拒绝乘坐车牌按他们看不吉利的出租汽车。过去几年望,我们也看到了不少家长对司机发睥气,就因为司机用车牌晦气的车接送他们的孩子。”全中国的家长和孩子都在全力拼搏,希望能最大限度地提高在这一严格的年度大考中取得成功的几率。高考成功不仅意味着获得了高等教育的门票,也意昧着在竞争日益激烈的中国
