The use of synaesthesia as a special figure of speech in high school language textbooks is a lot, especially in those works that more directly express the author’s subjective feelings. The excerpt of Liu Bhayue’s “Three Gorges on the Yangtze River” begins with the sentence, “This day, I like to fly in a majestic and magnificent symphony.” From the grammatical component of the sentence, this sentence seems to be to use a “magnificent and splendid” spectacular scene to revise and depict a symphony, but in fact, the author’s feelings It is said that it is the symphony of the spectacular scenery of the Three Gorges that moves from visual perception to auditory perception, or the use of auditory images to depict visual images - this is a visual-to-auditory synaesthesia.
