线条有形而无实,色彩有实而无形。而那些被使用的大量的原始线条,是原始人把想象、情感、观念融于其中的一种审美情感,这与今天的中国绘画所采用的形式可谓是异曲同工。与线条相比色彩是更原始的审美形式,这是因为对色彩的感受有动物性的自然反应作为基础,其中包含了原始人类的感情,这又与西方绘画产生了交叉点,虽然在当今西方绘画中还包含其他因素(例如光学反应),但对于颜色的运用还是处于主导地位的,而与原始人类使用
