上海译制片的同行中,近年来流传着一种说法——“还原”。这个“还原”论,若干年前只是在我厂创作人员中说说而已,很少有人把它当回事。随着社会上的译制单位与临时组合的译制班子的不断增多,“还原”论也迅速在这些单位与临时班子中流传开了,还有人竟把“还原”说成是译制片创作的最高原则、是译制艺术的最高成就,并在一些场合与媒体中宣扬。这就不得不引起人们关注与思考:译制片能“还原”吗?译制片的最高创作原则与艺术成就果真是“还原”吗? “还原”这个词,在《现代汉语词典》中释义为“事物恢复原状”。现在就让我们看看,译制片这个“事物”能不能“恢复原状”? 我们都知道,译制片是“从一种语言译成另一种
