在翻译求职信的过程中会遇到两种文化之间的差异,怎样才能让译文读者感受到语篇的连贯性而不觉得不知所云就成了求职信翻译的重点。这就要求译者从目的语文化出发,在翻译过程中对原文信息有所取舍。该论文将结合相关理论,以汉语求职信为例,对翻译过程中信息的取舍进行分析。
In the process of translating a cover letter, there will be differences between the two cultures. How to make the translator feel the consistency of the text without feeling unintelligible becomes the focus of the cover letter translation. This requires that the translator set out from the target language culture and have some discretion on the original information in the process of translation. The paper will combine the relevant theories to take the case of Chinese cover letter as an example to analyze the choice of information in the process of translation.
