The medical profession recognizes that the detection of blood pressure errors is very dangerous, such as missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis of hypertension. To reduce misdiagnosis caused by inaccurate sphygmomanometer measurements, Professor Lennast, Department of Public Health, Lund Medical School, Sweden, recently invented a new method for measuring blood pressure in adults. The new device for measuring blood pressure consists of three rubber capsules (9.12 and 15 cm wide) interconnected with each other and fixed in a cuff sleeve.
