河北省黄骅市五一机械厂是我国启闭机行业组长厂和国家二级企业,现有职工600余人,固定资产近200万元,主要生产启闭机、铸铁闸门、过闸流量计、无压锅炉、抽油烟机等水工机电产品。近年来,由于该厂紧紧抓住质量这个牛鼻子不放,使企业经济效益连年上升,产品质量达到国际同类产品先进水平,产销量居全国同行业之首。1993年在原辅材料大幅度涨价,减利150多万元的情况下,完成销售收入和实现利税比上年增长88.3％和52％,创历史最高水平。
