时下,在环保及综合性能方面,对车用发动机提出了极为严格的要求。机体作为发动机的基本零部件,要求以提高其强度来实现轻量化目标,同时要提高冷却性能。能满足上述要求的蠕虫状(CV)石墨铸铁受到了广泛的关注。该铸件有待解决的问题是材质和铸造品质的稳定性差,以及切削性较差等,日本丰田自动织机有限公司通过基于合金控制及铸造条件管理的生产工艺开发,解决了上述问题,实现了发动机机体用CV石墨铸铁的量产。
