“唐宋八大家”一说,自明代启用以来一直广为流行,现在各种文学史也都采用此说,但对八大家的名次,至今却没有一个统一的排列。有人认为很难统一,主张不妨多说并存,我认为还是应该有一个比较一致的排名。排名之所以被认为难度大,主要还是排名标准的把握问题。有的主张按时间顺序,有的主张按文学成就,有的主张按古文选本所选文章多少为序,甚至有的主张按时人关注度为序,各说不一。我认为排名标准,首先得考虑“唐宋八大家”的 Since the opening of the Ming Dynasty, it has been widely popular.
