Based on the chemical composition and stable isotopic compositions of gas released from the Tianchi volcano geothermal area, the sources of these gases are discussed. It is suggested that the gas evolved mainly from the mantle magma remnants in the area; the Changbai geothermal zone may be related to the ancient volcanic eruption channel Below which there is a stable reservoir of geothermal water and deep-source gas with a reservoir hot water temperature of about (166 ± 9) ℃. The evolved gas in the geothermal area of Jinjiang may be rapidly migrated from deep to the surface through active tectonics.
