Based on the analysis of 84 patients (1969, 7 ~ 1977, 6) with tonsillitis admitted to Boston Hospital, this article made a new evaluation of the pathogenesis of this disease and the commonly used treatment methods. In this group of cases, 41 cases of abscess around the tonsils, cellulitis around the tonsils in 43 cases.
