Cultivating students’ interest in writing, improving their writing skills, and accomplishing composition teaching tasks with sufficient quality and quantity are important topics that Chinese teachers must study. In order to seek a solution to this problem, since the fall of 1988, I have undertaken three-year teaching reforms in composition teaching.
