潘兰英,原黄石丝绸厂“留守工会主席”,现任黄石市铁山区总工会副主席。1994年5月至2000年8月,潘兰英在任黄石丝绸厂工会主席期间,自费跑遍了黄石100多家企业,走访了340余户居住在黄石市各个城区和大冶市乡镇的职工家庭。经过多方努力,为170多人谋到新职业,帮助200多户家庭缓解了困难．促成老厂房有偿转让．解决了180名退休职工的养老保险和在职工人10年的社会养老统筹金。1999年,中华全国总工会授予潘兰英“全国模范工会干部”称号。
Pan Lanying, the former Yellowstone Silk Factory “left the union chairman”, the current vice chairman of the General Union Tieshan District Huangshi City. From May 1994 to August 2000, during his tenure as president of Yellowstone Silk Factory Union, Pan Lanying traveled over 100 enterprises in Huangshi at his own expense and visited more than 340 families of workers living in various urban districts of Huangshi City and towns and villages in Daye City. After various efforts, more than 170 new people were recruited to help more than 200 families to ease their difficulties. Contributed to the old factory paid transfer. It has solved the pension insurance for 180 retired workers and the 10-year social pension scheme for serving workers. In 1999, the All-China Federation of Trade Unions awarded Pan Lanying the title of “cadre of national model unions.”
