This chapter focuses on the expression of intention-sensitivity expressed by many theorists as a serious threat to any form of semantics. Through in-depth analysis of three possible coping paths that the minimalist may adopt, the author proposes that the first two paths (the negative speaker’s intention is indeed related to the alleged affirmation; the minimum semantics of Ming Shen not accepting the alleged intention) While the third approach tries to separate the alleged problem from the semantic issue so that the smallest one no longer fears the semantics of grammatical sentences containing context-sensitive expressions Content needs to appeal to the rich connotation of the context of discourse, so Minimalism can successfully avoid the impact of pragmatics “mysterious magic” on sentences that contain context-sensitive expressions.
