Bis-butyryl cAMP is a differentiation-inducing agent that has a certain induction and differentiation effect on cancer cells cultured in vitro. This article focused on observing the effect of dibutyryl cAMP on the expression of multiple lectin receptors on cultured human lung adenocarcinoma cells, and inoculating bis-butyryl cAMP-treated cancer cells in nude mice subcutaneously to observe the spontaneousity of transplanted tumors. Growth Status. The results showed that the expression of several lectin receptors on the surface of human lung adenoma cells treated with dibutyryl cAMP was reduced, and the latency of tumor formation was prolonged and the invasive ability was decreased after transplantation. Since the changes in the structure and function of cancer cell membranes are closely related to the ability of cancer cells to recognize adhesion and invasion, this result suggests that the effect of dibutyryl cAMP on cancer cell membranes may be to restore the adhesion and recognition ability of cancer cells and reduce their invasiveness. One of the mechanisms.
