近几年来,由于干旱缺水,开原县稻区每年都有几千亩稻田种不上.为了探讨水田抗旱的耕作措施,我们进行了水稻旱种试验.1979年旱种78亩,其中八宝公社鲜屯二队33亩,单产812.6斤.城郊公社有8亩,单产750斤,与附近正常插秧的地块产量相同.据试验,水稻旱种在整个生育期可节水50%.泡田用水可全部节省.旱种,有调节“用水高峰”的作用,不用育苗,可节省塑料薄膜,虽然要施一些化学除草剂,但每亩成本仍降低5~7元,旱种,亩用工量减少50%,且能降低劳动强度.由此可见,在缺水年份,安排一定数量的旱种面积,既能充分发挥水的效益,又能获得较高的产量.
