第六届中国国际机床展览会（CIMT’99）检阅全国制造技术的精华,还浏览到世界各国顶尖的制造技术。 据对CIMT’99展品的初步分析,可看到世界制造技术的发展方向。 一、数控化对传统制造技术的改造 CIMT’99展出约1000台国内外机床中,数控机床约占到七成,这么高的比重,是历届CIMT所没有的。在约600台国内企业展出的机床中,有360多台为数控机床,在数量上第一次超过国外厂商（约300余台）。在市场经济条件下,展品的构成反映市场的需要。说明我国制造技术对数控化改造的需求日益增长,并加紧追赶世界先进制造技术。
