我市丘陵地区的马尾松林,几乎年年都有松毛虫发生,轻则受害,重则成灾。在“以菌治虫”取得成果的基础上,最近几年,开展了赤眼蜂防治松毛虫的试验。1978年,在本所周围第一代松毛虫卵期放蜂治虫500亩,平均寄生率62.2~92.95%。第二代松毛虫卵期放蜂治虫210亩,平均寄生率75~81%,取得了较好的效果。在放蜂区,基本抑制了松毛虫的大发生。几年的实践证明,利用赤眼蜂防治松毛虫主要优点有:(一)繁殖赤眼蜂的工艺简单,生产方便,掌握了繁蜂技术,就可以利用简单设备大量繁殖利用;(二)使用简便,成本低,
