在二语和外语课堂上,教师话语既是目标语输入的重要来源,又可以引导学习者参与到交际活动中,为其创造输出语言的机会,因此在语言习得中起着重要的作用。本研究通过分析课堂录像,对大学英语听说和读写两种课型中的教师话语在话语量,语言质量,提问方式,师生交互方式等方面的特点进行了调查和比较。研究结果表明,这两种课型教师的课堂话语在以上几个方面都存在明显差异。研究倡导大学英语教师注意两种课堂话语的差异性,并反思教师话语在学习者习得过程中的作用。
In second language and foreign language classroom, teacher discourse is not only an important source of target language input, but also can guide learners to participate in communication activities and create opportunities for them to output languages. Therefore, teacher discourse plays an important role in language acquisition. Through analyzing the video in the classroom, this study investigates and compares the characteristics of teacher discourse in the two types of college English listening, speaking, reading and writing in terms of speech quantity, language quality, questioning method, teacher-student interaction and so on. The results show that there are obvious differences in the above two aspects of classroom discourse between the two teachers. The research advocates college English teachers to pay attention to the differences between the two kinds of classroom discourse and to reflect on the role of teacher discourse in learner acquisition.
