四川盆地的震旦系至第三系可划分为3个巨层序、17个超层序。超层序的周期平均为37Ma。巨层序边界的形成与太平洋板块和华南板块的聚合有关,超层序边界在区域上可以追踪、对比,它们大多数与区域构造运动相对应。
The Sinian to Tertiary in the Sichuan Basin can be divided into three giant sequences and 17 super-sequences. The average period of super-sequence is 37Ma. The formation of the giant sequence boundary is related to the aggregation of the Pacific plate and the South China plate. The super-sequence boundary can be traced in the area, and most of them correspond to the regional tectonic movement.
