This article describes the direct thermal desorption gas chromatography method for the determination of dilute rice in air. This method is characterized by sensitivity, speed, simplicity, and use of solvents. Sampling uses a pump or syringe to pass the air containing the test substance through the Tenax GC adsorption tube at a rate of 0.2-0.3 L/min, typically only 10 minutes. Take samples back to the laboratory. The Tenax GC sampling tube was placed directly into the thermal desorber, desorption was performed at a certain temperature, and then condensed in the refrigerator of the thermal desorber.
