将认知语言学对隐喻的研究成果运用于语言教学是当今隐喻研究的七大主题之一。隐喻的认知观和语言的隐喻性使得隐喻研究的各种成果应用于语言教学成为可能。本文在简要阐述隐喻的认知理论的基础上,重点从词的理据、一词多义、词义变化、词义的理解等方面讨论了隐喻的认知观对英语词汇的解释力。
The application of cognitive linguistics to metaphorical research in language teaching is one of the seven themes of metaphorical research today. Metaphorical cognition and language metaphor make it possible to apply metaphorical research results to language teaching. This paper briefly discusses the cognitive theory of metaphor, and discusses the explanatory power of metaphorical cognition on English vocabulary from the aspects of word rationale, polysemy, change of meaning, and understanding of meaning.
