一我国实行改革开放政策以来,对外友好交往和经济贸易日益频繁。国家、社会、对外语教学提出了新的要求。外语教学必须改革,过去培养出来的只会一种语言,尤其是不很通用语种的学生,就显出其局限性,适应不了开放的需要。我们认为,双语教学的实施是外语教学改革的一个方面,也是办好应用文科教学的一部分。在开始试行双语教学制以前,有些同志担心:“学生能不能把西班牙语和英语同时掌握好?”“他们会不会成为两种语言都学不好的‘半吊子’呢?
Since the implementation of China’s policy of reform and opening up, foreign-friendly exchanges and economic trade have become increasingly frequent. National, social, foreign language teaching put forward new requirements. Foreign language teaching must be reformed. Only one language trained in the past, especially those who are not very common languages, shows its limitations and can not meet the needs of opening up. In our opinion, the implementation of bilingual teaching is one aspect of foreign language teaching reform, and it is also a part of running applied liberal arts teaching. Before commencing the pilot bilingual education system, some comrades were worried: ”Can students not only master both Spanish and English?“ ”Will they become ’half-baked’ students in both languages?
