剪切带是调节相对刚性围岩之间相对运动而形成的高应变带。对剪切带应变方式的分析,可利用各种对称或者不对称的构造来直接判断。然而,这些方法定量化程度较低。运动学涡度的研究能定量的表征纯剪切和简单剪应变方式所占比例。通过不同方法测量大量单个样品的运动学涡度值,建立运动学涡度时空演化轨迹,能为剪切带非均匀、非稳态变形历史的研究提供更多信息。总结前人对剪切带运动学涡度的研究,并结合当前研究前沿,综述剪切带运动学涡度的理论及其应用。
Shear zone is a high strain zone formed by the relative movement of relatively rigid surrounding rock. The analysis of shear band strain modes can be directly judged by various symmetrical or asymmetrical structures. However, these methods are less quantitative. The study of kinematic vorticity can quantitatively characterize the proportion of pure shear and simple shear strain. By measuring the kinematic vorticity values of a large number of individual samples by different methods, the establishment of the kinematic vorticity spatiotemporal evolution trajectory can provide more information for the study of the shear band non-uniform and unsteady deformation history. The previous studies on the kinematic vorticity of shear bands are summarized. Combining with the current research front, the theory and application of kinematic vorticity of shear bands are reviewed.
