一、几代艺术家的愿望 早在1984年,中国的交响乐事业曾掀起过热潮。当时著名指挥家李德伦先生就从热潮的表面看到了潜在的危机,于是,他与其它艺术家率先提出了集中优秀人才建立代表国家最高水准的交响乐团的改革方案。 1988年,正是原中央乐团辉煌时期,当时担任原中央乐团常任指挥的陈佐湟又一次提出了中央乐团的改革方案,呼吁建立以艺术总监为核心的国家级交响乐团。 改革方案一次次提出,一次次石沉大海。直到1994年,中国交响乐出现了预料中的危机。
