高考改革“要始终坚持有助于高等学校选拔人才、有助于中学实施素质教育、有助于高等学校扩大办学自主权”。这已成为包括教育界在内的广泛的社会共识。前不久,本刊编辑部邀请部分专家、学者,就贯彻、落实教育部《关于进一步深化普通高等学校招生考试制度改革的意见》进行了座谈。与会的专家、学者在总结、分析恢复高考20多年实践的基础上,从不同的角度,就一些热点问题特别是“3+X”的科目设置和高考內容的改革等,发表了意见。我们认为,有些建议很中肯,可操作;有些建议还需要一个较长的过程才能实现;有些意见虽不很成熟,但表达了社会各界情系高考,希望它积极、健康发展的愿望今天,我们将部分专家、学者的发言摘录予以发表,以飨读者。我们希望广大读者积极参与高考改革特别是內容和形式改革的讨论,并提出建设性的意见,继续推进这项涉及千家万户和国家发展战略的重要事业,使其真正成为“三个有助于”的推动器。
