Economists had long known the importance of information in the market, but it was not until the 1950s that people began a systematic economic analysis of information, and since then information economics has seen rapid growth. Now, it has been generally recognized that market imperfections (or asymmetries) also affect the efficiency of the market, just as the rest of the market is incomplete.James Mills and William Vicki also Won the 1996 Nobel Prize in economics for studying the impact of incomplete information or asymmetric information on the market, and the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences believes that their research helps people gain a better understanding of commodities, insurance, hiring, credit and auctions And so the operating mechanism of the market, has great application value.
