The technical and economic level of quasi-approval work is the main direction for the development of coal industry technology. The Soviet Union believes that promoting the use of roadheaders is an important way to comprehensively improve roadway driving. The Kuzabas Institute of Technology conducted a survey on more than 200 different types of tunnels (150km) and more than 700 working faces to find out the optimal heading speed of roadheader: 380 ~ 500m / Roadway is 260 ~ 400m / month.
