My writing for popular mathematics started in 1955. The motivation for the initial writing was relatively simple, and I only hoped that my business would help the young people. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War, it was the second phase of my writing. The motivation for continuing writing is ideologically considered to be easy and fame and fortune. However, under the rule of Chiang Kai-shek at that time, the suffering of the people reached an extreme, so the pent-up feelings in the heart and the ease under the pens were contradictory. It is this kind of contradiction that is concentrated in the “math train”. There are many problems in this book. The main points are as follows: First, it is full of vulgar and low-level taste. Not knowing popular is not tantamount to vulgarity. It must be highly ideological in order to have an upright interest. If you pursue only from the means of performance, it is to wait. Second, it is not responsible enough for certain statements. For example, the example cited Malthus’s population theory and did not add it
