内蒙古自治区非英语专业大学生的英语听力理解水平普遍较低,笔者通过实验的方法,以内蒙古工业大学2012级B班学生为例,运用“图式理论”对这一问题进行分析研究,指出“图式是影响非英语专业大学生英语听力理解水平的重要因素。”由此得出图式理论对大学英语听力教学的启示:教师要综合运用“自下而上”与“自上而下”的听力教学法,帮助学生不断构建图式,更好地克服语言障碍,让学生更快地熟悉话题内容,掌握背景知识,从而提高听力水平,促进听力教学。
The English listening comprehension of non-English majors in Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region is generally low. The author uses the method of experiment to take the Class B students of Inner Mongolia University of Technology as an example, and uses “Schema Theory” to analyze and study this problem. “The schema is an important factor that influences the level of English listening comprehension for non-English majors.” “The enlightenment of Schema Theory to college English listening comprehension is thus derived from the following: Teachers should comprehensively use” bottom-up “and” Top-down "listening teaching method to help students continue to build schemata to better overcome language barriers, to enable students to quickly familiar with the topic content, master the background knowledge, thereby enhancing the level of listening and listening teaching.
