Objective: To explore the relationship between ischemic stroke and its TOAST subtype and blood lipid. Methods: The blood lipid levels of TG, TC, HDL, LDL, APoA, APoB and LP-a in 182 patients with ischemic stroke and 82 normal controls were collected and compared for statistical analysis. The ischemic Patients with stroke were classified by TOAST, and each subtype was compared with the control group. Results: The levels of TG and LDL in the case group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P <0.05), and the levels of HDL and APoA in the two groups were significantly lower than those in the control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference between TC, APoB and LP- The levels of TG, LDL and APoB in CE, LAA and SAO groups were significantly higher than those in control group (P <0.05); HDL in each group was significantly lower than that in control group (P <0.05); TC in CE group (P <0.05). The levels of APoA in LAA and SUE groups were significantly lower than those in control group (P <0.05). There was no significant difference in LP-a between groups and control group. Conclusions: The incidence of ischemic stroke is related to dyslipidemia, and it has some correlation with its TOAST subtypes. It is of great significance to detect the level of blood lipid and reduce the occurrence of ischemic stroke.
