电子计算机系统数字地震勘探仪器所得到的地震记录取样数,如果按48个接收点,4毫秒取样,记录长度为5秒,则放一次炮就要取得48×5秒/4毫秒=6万个样。从日工作量来说,在海上勘探中每天100公里是没有什么困难的,如按48道,2400米长的电缆,做48次复盖计算,则得4000张记录。因此这些地震资料总取样数为 6万×4000张记录=2.4亿个样。这个数字即使是对于电子计算机也是一个庞大的数量。为了高效率地处理这些资料就要有高性能的计算机系统(硬设备)和能使计算机充分发挥效能的程序(软设备)。
If you press 48 reception points, 4 milliseconds sampling, record length of 5 seconds, put a shot to get 48 × 5 seconds / 4 milliseconds = 60,000 kind. From the daily workload, there is no difficulty in exploring 100 kilometers of sea every day. Therefore, the total number of samples for these seismic data is 60,000 × 4,000 records = 240 million samples. This figure is a huge amount even for electronic computers. In order to efficiently process this information, there must be high-performance computer systems (hard devices) and programs (soft devices) that make the computer fully functional.
