近年我国智力外流现象严重,以致引起国内外众多媒体热逐以及学术界的关注,然而,研究中国不同教育层次移民对FDI流入影响的经验文献仍较缺乏。本文考察了中国在经合组织各国的移民网络是否促进了来源于该国家的FDI流入中国。实证结果显示:当地移民网络为中国FDI的流入提供了重要的推动力;其中,高等教育移民在1%的水平上显著,中、低等教育移民对FDI流入的影响不显著;并且这一推动作用自20世纪90年代转入21世纪后趋于减弱。
In recent years, there has been a serious phenomenon of intellectual outflow in our country, which has aroused many domestic and foreign media enthusiasm and academic concerns. However, there is still a lack of empirical literature on the impact of immigration on FDI inflows at different educational levels in China. This article examines whether China’s immigration network in OECD countries facilitates the inflow of FDI from China into China. The empirical results show that: the local immigration network provides an important impetus to the inflow of FDI in China. Among them, the higher education immigrants are significant at the level of 1%, the immigration of middle and lower education has no significant impact on FDI inflows; and this impetus The role tended to diminish since the turn of the twentieth century into the twenty-first century.
