在汽车工业中,提高劳动生产率的重要途径之一是不断改善刀具材料的切削性能和不断提高刀具的技术水平。伏尔加汽车厂使用多边形可转位刀片装配式刀具的经验,证实了这点。在该厂这样的刀具占硬质合金刀具总品种的75%左右。该厂应用的5000多种合金刀具,是由112种标准形状的刀片,和60种专用形状的刀片装配成的,其中包括,由10种铣刀片装配成的150种铣刀。像曲轴、分配轴、前轮毂、刹车鼓、变速箱轴和变速箱齿轮等零件的车加工,都只用装多边形可转位刀片的刀具来完成。
In the automotive industry, one of the important ways to improve labor productivity is to continuously improve the cutting performance of cutting materials and continuously improve the technical level of cutting tools. This is confirmed by the experience of the Volga automotive plant with the use of polygon indexable insert-mounted tools. In the factory such tools accounted for about 75% of the total varieties of carbide cutting tools. The plant’s more than 5,000 alloy tools are assembled from 112 standard-shape inserts and 60 special-shaped inserts, including 150 milling cutters assembled from 10 milling inserts. Machining parts such as crankshafts, splitter shafts, front hubs, brake drums, gearbox shafts and gearbox gears is done using only tools that have polygonal indexable inserts.
