南京栖霞山铅锌矿石中伴生有多种有益组份.其中银颇引人瞩目,几次采取的选矿试验样中,平均含银量均达140克/吨左右。1982年,我所和北京有色设计研究总院共同承担了栖霞山铅锌矿石的选矿工艺流程试验,采取的矿石为,Pb 1.58%、Zn 3.02%S 12.90%,Cu 0.036%、Ag 147克/吨、属于低铜矿石.经岩矿工作确定,银矿物有辉银矿、深红银矿、辉硒银矿、硫铜银矿、方银铜氯铅矿.前两种是可见银矿物、能用矿相显微镜在矿片中观察到,后几种是不可见银矿物、不能在矿片中观察到,它们是经 X 光衍射分析检出的.
